Governance
The Association’s Bylaws
The governance of the PTA is determined by its bylaws.
These define:
- The association’s name Its registered office, duration, and purpose
- The rules for electing the Executive Committee
- The rules for dissolution and financial liability
The association’s most recent bylaws were approved by the General Assembly on June 24, 2019.
An update to the bylaws will be submitted for a vote at an Extraordinary General Assembly during the 2025–26 school year in order to adapt the association to the LFiZ’s new projects.
The General Assembly
The General Assembly is the supreme authority of the Association. It includes all members.
The ordinary General Assembly takes place once a year, in September. The date and venue are communicated to members by the Executive Committee at least 14 days in advance.
The notice of meeting is accompanied by an agenda. The General Assembly is not a public meeting. The chair of the meeting may admit guests. Minutes of the General Assembly must be prepared by the Executive Committee.
